My lovely friends.

My bestest friends in the world are Tegan and Allyshia. They aren't even my friends, they're more like my sisters. Allyshia I met the day I was born, most of my memories are with her. And Tegan entered my life in year 8, when we both schemed to become friends with eachother. (My ways were more forward, like sitting next to her in class, hers were a lot more planned and clever, like... well Tegan honey, I wont embarrass you haha.)

Tania deserves a special mention, we've been friends since grade prep when she could hardly speak a word of english.

Steph, Kathleen and Lauren are simply amazing. I love you girls, you are so much fun.

Then theres the awesome people that brighten up my life like stars in a night sky. Menzies, Bridie, Cinta, Jesse, Steph M., Al, Gracie, Brittlez, Shannone, Kayla, Lana, and if ive forgotten you, let me know! Ill put you in.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! You are a shoulder to cry on at the worst of times, and someone to make me cry with laughter at the best of times.

Claire's Hobbies

*Puts on a Borat voice* My hhhhhhhhobbies include...

I love everything to do wth english *cough*nerd*cough*, including writing, reading, and public speaking. In particular I love debating. Our last debate was a secret topic, which im not used to, but I think I did really well. (I won't go too far into that, Kathleen might start crying.)

I loooove going to the gym but I dont get the chance to nearly as much as Id like to. I feel the best after an hour session running uphill on a treadmill, pumping my legs on a cross-trainer, lifting weights, and doing crunches. At one stage I lost over 5 kilos, but then the damn summer holidays ruined all my hard work. Which reminds me of a dream Tegan had the other night. LOL!!!!

I also love drama, but I dont do it outside of school.

i love playing and writing songs on my guitar, which is hot pink. Strumming a guitar is one of the best feelings in the whole world. I love music. I play it, I sing it, I dance it, I BREATHE it!!!!! haha, i love a good cliche'.

Maybe

Hi guys =D

Lately Ive been writing songs on my guitar. I thought Id share one with you. Keep in mind, it sounds a lot better in song with guitar than it does reading the words alone on paper.

Alright, heres the unfinished 'Maybe'.

Maybe you should love me for me,

Maybe underneath your smile so wide,

You cry a river deep inside,

Maybe we're all tryin' to hide.

Maybe Im tryin' to understand,

What makes a boy into a man,

And why we live and die for land.

Maybe its a problem we must face,

Maybe life's one big rat race,

Maybe Im a little scared of this place.

Maybe one day we can all stand tall,

Or maybe we're all going to fall,

Maybe there isn't a God at all.

my first blog

Hi everyone! :D

This is my first blog with this website so I suppose I should tell you a bit about myself. I did blogging in year 8, but i cant even remember my username. Our english teacher is making us all set up blog, and I guess the class has mixed feelings about that. I don't really mind, it's a lot easier than doing proper work, and it's a quick, interesting way of sharing my work and opinions with everyone.

My name is Claire and I was brought into the world on the 15th of October 1992, making me 15 years old. Like most teenagers, I like having fun and hanging out with my beautiful friends. I have greenish eyes and long brown hair that is too wild for its own good. My hair is about two inches away from my desired length which will hopefully fulfill my dream of looking like a crazy hippy.

Im a fairly crazy person, very outgoing and affectionate. I try to be nice to everyone and I have friends from all kinds of different walks of life or 'cliques'. Im a thoughtful person and I tend to worry about things that most people my age dont think about. I hate racism, sexism, homophobia, hypocracy, judgemental people. and people who constantly complain about their lives. Life is meant to be enjoyed! I believe you shouldn't judge a person until you've walked a mile in their shoes.

I love music and I have a pink guitar which I am gradually learning to play. I can play a few basic songs like Opportunity by Pete Murray, and a few harder ones like Banana Pancakes by Jack Johnson. I am in love with my iPod (whose name is Sylvester) and I need an iPod with more memory seeing as I have already filled mine up with over 800 songs.

My favourite artists are John Mayer, Pete Murray, Jack Johnson, Missy Higgins, Gregory and the Hawk, Bob Marley, Coldplay, Joss Stone and many more which Im sure you dont want to be bored with. My favourite style of music is usually alternative and indie. I love pretty accoustic songs, and singers with sweet, simple voices. When I fall in love with a song I wear it out a lot. I play it on repeat until I am completely sick of it. I have done that with the songs Bubbly by Colbie Callait, Heartstopper by Emiliana Torrini, Boats and Birds by Gregory and the Hawk, and a lot more.

Im a bit of a television-a-holic. I watch waaaaay too much TV. I love Lost, House, Supernatural, So You Think You Can Dance, Heroes, Rove, How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy, and Australian Idol.

My favourite subject is english and I love public speaking and debating. Ive been in a few different public speaking competitions, and last year my debate team won The Hills Debate Competition. When I leave school I plan on getting a degree in Journalism or a Bachelor in Media and Communications. Im interested in journalism, in particular television and radio.
