Hi Brittany
Just wondering why you need to be in ICT to blog? Isn't blogging writing? So therefore wouldn't a blog be the perfect way to have the writing that you do in English published for a real audience? Just curious! Love your bright, funky background! Keep blogging - there are lots of people who will read it!

in my own opinion
blogging isnt a part on english,
i get that its writing yer sure.
but its a natural instinct for me personally to type
with incorrect gramma
and in short "im" text.
so this is why i belive that blogging isnt english.
i would rather be learning about nouns and verbs and things like that that i may actually need to use in the future. not blogging.
i have myspace
i use it frequently
so i dont see the point in using this.
i dont have any use for it.
it doesnt make me learn anything.
and what gives you the right to judge me on MY opinion. ?

ahah to the cmnt the lady sent yu.
clearly she hasnt seen our class.
yeh we are all so interested.
if we dont like this then who cares where is this blogging goin to get us..
you think they should teach us something we would actually need and used.
if you dont listen to other peoples options then why should we listen to yours.

Actually, you may be surprised by how blogging becomes incorporated in your future career. Currently, more and more companies are creating blogs on their websites to interact with their clientele. Not to mention that email is also a regular part of the work-place. Clear and concise writing skills in relation to communicating with you future colleagues will be very important. If nothing else, this provides you an opportunity to polish the use of IM-speak so that it will not have a negative affect upon your future endeavors.
Do I think you really need to write that "stiffly" at this point in your life? No. But, it will serve you well professionally in the future to learn to do so now.
