Disquiet

I recently read a strange little book called Disquiet. Although I thoroughly enjoyed this book some may find it abit hard to follow, you have to read between the lines to completely understand. Disquiet is a hauntingly strange and absolutely compelling vision of a family suffering from many heartaches. Written by Julia Leigh, she is a sorceress of words.
Below is a small segment taken from the book:
'The woman was first through the breach, snagging and ripping her stockings. The boy helped his sister across and then, piece by piece, passed the luggage over. He took a quick look around to make sure no-one had been watching and closed the door behind him.'

I really like this entry because it gives me ideas of books to read. I have read The Hunter by Julia Leigh and I am glad to know that she has written another book. Thank you.
